 Two ORT Israel Graduates Killed |

On Saturday, Sergeant Yaacov (Kobi) Nir, a graduate of the ORT Shapira
High School in Kfar Sava was killed in a terrorist attack on an Israeli
stronghold near the Gaza Strip. Kobi, a military paramedic rushed to
help his commanding officer who was wounded in the gunshot exchange.
While treating the officer, Nir sustained several shots and died. On Saturday night a vicious terrorist attack was launched on a vehicle traveling on one of the main roads between Tel-Aviv and Jerusalem. In the attack a husband and wife were killed. Injured in the same incident was lieutenant Yoav Sveiry of Jerusalem. Late Sunday night Yoav, a Cum Laude graduate of the ORT Givat Ram College died of his wounds. |
