 ORT Sunflowers Project Volunteers Receive Award |

On July 12, 2002, ORT Sunflowers Project
volunteers from 15 ORT schools will be awarded the Israeli Presidential Volunteer Award for their
activities to help young cancer patients in 11 hospitals around Israel. The students, including
those from ORT Achva Gilboa (Arab) and Mt. Carmel Ronson (Druze) high schools, occupy the patients
using computers with internet connectivity, computer games, and software.
This summer, ORT will hold a second summer camp for the young patients and their families.
