(London, 4 February 2004) Guy Seniak, National Director of ORT France, has been awarded the
Edmond Tenoudji Prize for Jewish Education by the French Unified Social Fund. The fund,
established in 1988, complements the work of educational authorities and recognises outstanding
institutions and educators, providing them with financial support. At the award ceremony held on 26th January, accolades were presented to: Guy Seniak for his contribution, as National Director of ORT France, to Jewish education; to ORT France for the high level of Jewish education it provides to French Jewish youth; and to Rabbi Claude Sultan, a former ORT Morocco educator, for his important contribution to Judaism within French Jewish communities. |
